What “Good Food” Means to Me

Good food helps us connect with ourselves and each other. It fuels us and allows us to do our best work. I believe that every meal provides an opportunity to connect, relax, and celebrate.

At Good Luck Dinner, I am dedicated to making meals that are:

Wholesome and Satisfying

Food is best when it is an expression of season and place. I love to cook with seasonal, whole ingredients, and I take great joy in creating staples like bread and yogurt from scratch. I find that meals are most satisfying when they are well-balanced-- all of my meals provide a hearty mix of protein, carbs, fats, and plenty of vegetables.

Welcoming and Accessible

Your family has a shared food culture, but each member has their own preferences, quirks, and values. My goal is to make meals that everyone in your family can access in their own way. If you have little ones, I will take care to incorporate elements that appeal to their developing palates.

Tasty and Refined

Simply put, food should taste good. I provide unfussy home cooking that your family will be excited to eat. While my meals are rooted in our Northwest bounty, I’m often inspired by international cuisines and love to incorporate elements that add variety and a bit of adventure.
